We provide hands-on training and certifications in high-demand industries like agriculture, manufacturing, and transportation, ensuring our participants are job-ready for today’s economy.

Support That Removes Barriers

From tuition and tool stipends to rent, fuel, and food assistance, SER Corporation offers financial aid that lets people focus on their education and career, not just surviving.

Guidance That Stays With You

Our dedicated Client Service Agents provide one-on-one coaching, from your first conversation through job placement and beyond, offering mentorship every step of the way.

Why SER Works

Our approach goes beyond the classroom by offering one-on-one monthly support to ensure participants stay on track throughout their journey.

We provide personalized job placement assistance tailored to each individual’s goals and strengths, and our commitment doesn’t end with employment. We follow up for 15 months after job placement to help participants stay stable and grow in their careers. With thousands trained and thousands placed, our proven track record speaks for itself.

Programs & services

SER offers tailored services that address the real challenges:

NFJP

The National Farmworker Jobs Program (NFJP) helps migrant and seasonal farmworkers overcome employment barriers through job training, education, and supportive services.

Classroom Training

Through the NFJP, we offer Classroom Training (CRT) opportunities that help you gain in-demand skills and land stable, good-paying jobs.

On-The-Job Training

Participants gain hands-on experience and learning essential skills directly from employers in real work environments.

Continued Support

We help with housing, transportation, tools, and career coaching, to ensure you can complete training and transition successfully into the workforce.

SER Corp

SER stands for Service, Education, and Retraining. For over 50 years, we’ve been helping Kansans, especially low-income individuals and farmworkers, gain the education, skills, and support needed to achieve long-term economic self-sufficiency.

To qualify, individuals must:

-Be a U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work (including DACA recipients).

-Be registered with Selective Service (if applicable).

-Be a low-income seasonal or migrant farmworker, or a dependent of one, who has experienced chronic underemployment or unemployment.

SER pairs each participant with a dedicated Client Service Agent (CSA) who provides consistent, personalized support—from application to job placement and ongoing guidance for 15 months after employment. We prioritize relationships, not just results

While SER serves participants in a variety of sectors, we specialize in three high-growth industries that offer long-term career opportunities:

-Transportation

-Manufacturing

-Agriculture

SER continues to support participants for 15 months after job placement. We check in quarterly to track progress, offer help if needed, and ensure long-term success.
